Dende oil

We’re becoming wiser and wiser when it comes to our health. We’ve started to look for safer, healthier, alternative fats to replace our traditional cooking oils because we know how unhealthy they are. Clinical research has proven that most of the fats and oils we’ve been using for the last few decades, like refined and processed vegetable oils and margarines, are very detrimental to our health. They aren’t a smart choice if you want a healthy lifestyle and a longer lifespan. It’s great that we’ve come to realize this, however late, but next comes the hard part: finding the right alternative. Luckily, the perfect alternative has been right in front of us all along: dende oil.

Dende oil isn’t like the bad fats that have harmful effects on our liver, brain functions and overall health. It’s a completely safe alternative that can help increase our productivity and improve our health both physically and mentally. So what makes dende oil different from other types of oils? It has a unique composition of saturated fats which make it perfect for sautéing or pan frying your food. That’s because saturated fats are very stable and can handle high levels of heat without breaking down. Unlike dende oil, most types of oils start to breakdown and degrade when subjected to high levels of heat, losing all of their beneficial, healthy components.

Dende oil is extracted from the reddish pulp of the fruit of certain types of oil palms, mainly the African oil palm called Elaeis guineensis. It goes by many names but perhaps the most common name for dende oil is red palm oil. The reason it’s called “red” palm oil is that there are other types of palm oils that can be confused with dende oil, such as palm kernel oil. Dende oil contains a high level of beta-carotenes which have a reddish-orange color and give dende oil its natural reddish appearance. Palm kernel oil on the other hand, has no beta-carotenes so you should be able to easily distinguish between the two oils. Remember: if it’s red, it’s dende oil. If it’s not red, put it down and look for dende oil.

The beta-carotenes in dende oil are responsible for so much more than just its reddish color. Beta- carotenes play an important role in boosting your energy levels and also improving your hormonal balance. Why is it important to have balanced hormone levels? Well, let’s start with the most simple, yet most annoying, skin problem that everyone has faced at some point in their life: acne. Dende oil’s beta-carotene content can help you get rid of acne because hormonal imbalance is a leading cause of acne. Puberty and pregnancy are two of the most common phases in our lives that involve hormonal disturbances. During those phases, our hormones get mixed up, leading to a cascade of events that cause acne. First, your skin’s oil production gets mixed up. Sometimes it secretes too much oil, other times too little. Whenever there’s an excess amount of oil, it gathers all the preexisting dead skin cells around it and together, they clog up your pores. Clogged pores are a perfect medium for bacteria to grow, especially acne-causing bacteria. And there you have it: you’ve got acne. The smartest way to go about fighting acne is tackling it at the very beginning by preventing the initial hormonal imbalance. That’s where dende oil comes in. It balances your hormone levels and doesn’t give acne the slightest chance of developing.

Beta-carotenes’ role doesn’t stop at hormonal balance and increasing energy. They’re also extremely important for our eyes. More specifically, they’re important for our vision. You know how for the last few decades, we’ve been hearing about how important carrots are for your eyesight? Well, that’s mainly due to the high beta-carotene content of carrots. But guess what? Dende oil is another natural source that is rich in beta-carotenes making it just as effective at enhancing our eyesight. By using dende oil instead of traditional, unhealthy oils, you can prevent several ocular conditions such as macular degeneration and cataracts.

One of the most important things dende oil does for you is that it promotes a healthy balance of HDL (high density lipoprotein) and LDL (low density lipoprotein) in your body. You see, there are generally two types of cholesterol in your body: a good type of cholesterol and a bad type of cholesterol. The good cholesterol is called HDL (high density lipoprotein) while the bad one is called LDL (low density lipoprotein). Higher levels of HDL have been linked to a fewer heart diseases, less chances of a heart attack, and an overall healthier life. On the other hand, LDL has been associated with an increased risk of cardiac diseases, strokes, atherosclerosis, infarctions, and overall deterioration of health. That’s why you generally want to have higher levels of HDL and lower levels of LDL in your body. Dende oil can do that for you. There’s also a common misconception that people seem to have which is that even the smallest amount of LDL can cause heart problems and that you should strive for zero LDL. That’s not true. It’s not the quantity of HDL and LDL that matters, but the ratio between them that makes the difference. For example, dende oil contains a certain amount of HDL and LDL but once you consume it, it maintains just the right balance between them, essentially protecting your heart against all kinds of diseases. Be smart with what you choose to consume. You need both LDL and HDL, just in different amounts. So pick something like dende oil that can give you just the right amounts, nothing less, nothing more.

You might not believe this but dende oil can actually help reduce the risk of cancer. It’s something that scientists have only recently discovered. Here’s why. Dende oil contains a large amount of tocopherols, which are a form of vitamin E. These tocopherols are powerful antioxidants, making dende oil one of the richest natural sources of antioxidants out there. So here’s the question you’re probably thinking: what are antioxidants? Everyone’s talking about them these days and you probably already know that they’re good for you, but what exactly are they? What do they do? Why are foods that contain antioxidants so expensive? Antioxidants are basically substances that prevent the oxidation of our normal body tissues and cells. What oxidizes them? Well, our bodies form certain chemical substances called “free radicals” as natural byproducts of physiological reactions. These free radicals are very reactive. They attack practically every cell and tissue in our bodies. For example, if those free radicals were to be formed in our kidneys, they might cause acute or chronic kidney failure. If they were to be generated in our heart muscle, we’d run the risk of developing ischemia, infarctions, and heart attacks. Free radicals in our skin layers accelerate aging and deteriorate our skin’s condition. Too many free radicals can even lead to skin cancer and other types of cancer! You get the point, right? Free radicals are bad. That’s why dende oil is so important. It contains a unique concentration of antioxidants that find and neutralize these free radicals, keeping all your cells and tissues safe from harm.

If you’re a pregnant mom, listen up. Dende oil is great for you. Whether this is your first born, or you’ve been through pregnancy before, I’m sure your physician has talked to you about the importance of having a sufficient amount of vitamins in your body at all times. Not just any vitamins, but more specifically, vitamins A, D, and E. These vitamins are fat soluble vitamins and your body has a hard time keeping them in. It’s just difficult to retain them. Your body needs theses vitamins but just won’t hold on to them. So what do you do? You take them from a rich source like dende oil. Dende oil contains a huge amount of vitamins E, D, and A. It ensures that you’ll never suffer from a deficiency of these vitamins as long as you take a reasonable amount every now and then. It’s also worth mentioning that being ideal for pregnant moms goes to show just how safe dende oil really is. Usually, when someone’s pregnant, their diets are extremely restricted. Practically everything is contraindicated for one reason or another. This product’s bad for the mother, this product’s bad for the baby, it just never ends, does it? That’s why it’s very rare to be able to find a product that is completely safe during pregnancy. Thankfully, dende oil is just that.

Perhaps the only thing you should take care of when using dende oil is that it shouldn’t be used by someone who has an abnormally high LDL level. If your lipid profile shows that you have some sort of unexplained elevation in your LDL levels, perhaps due to a genetic condition or so, then you’re better off not using dende oil because it does have some LDL in it. Other than that, this oil is completely safe and is definitely something that you should include in your diet for a healthier, longer life.
